Week Note 42

•2 min read

Oct. 12–18, 2026

This week, I worked on some freelance projects. Tibo (@thsottiaux) has been announcing a new feature or improvement—or resetting usage limits—every day for 28 days, so I worked a little harder than usual to make the most of the tokens I was given. Since the reset cycle is short, I figured I should run tests to use as many tokens as possible, so I worked on expanding the test suite. While strengthening the tests, I also cleaned up the related files, and it took longer than I expected. Still, it feels good to have tackled something I needed to do.

I also renewed my Apple Developer Program membership. My app revenue is now enough to cover the membership fee. I still have a long way to go, so I’m going to keep pushing toward my next goal.

I watched the TV series Silo again for the first time in a while. I’d watched through Season 1 but hadn’t gotten around to Season 2. After wrapping up a big project, I finally watched it—and it was so good. Every episode ended on such a compelling cliffhanger that I ended up staying up all night, watching until dawn.

What I did this week…
